Our approach

In the process of designing custom icons we usually take the following steps:

  1. Defining the scope: the number of icons, the number of variations, file formats
  2. Canvas phase: during this phase we discuss subjects such as targeting, style, and application
  3. Concept phase: at this stage we make a couple of sketches, for a few icons
  4. Implementation phase: when the concept is approved we will proceed on all icons in the pre-arranged style
  5. Delivery: when all icons are approved we deliver them in the pre-arranged file format
  6. Development: in a follow-up process we can design extra icons or matching illustrations

The power of icons

A picture says more than a thousand words. And that is certainly the power of icons. Icons are straightforward illustrations that convey a message to a visitor or passer-by in a matter of seconds. You can find icons everywhere: on toilet doors, at airports and stations, in your car, and on your oven. Icons are also often used in a digital context: in software, on websites, and in apps.
